Licenses
Which license is right for me?
We offer three licenses. The licenses are based on the yearly total gross revenue of you as an individual, corporation or organisation and the number of employees and independent contractors working with you. The licenses are as follows:
Individual
You are an independent artist, a freelance artist for hire, a hobbyist or a student with less than $100K gross revenue per year than this license applies to you. If you are hired by a company to work remotely and if you are delivering images and movies created with the assets but no 3D data, you can also use this license. However, if the assets you download will be stored on a company server or if you are working on site, the company that hired you will have to purchase a Production or Enterprise license.
Production
This license applies to companies and organisations with up to 10 employees or independent contractors with less than $2M gross revenue per year. You may store the downloaded assets on a company server.
Enterprise
This license applies to companies and organisations with more than 10 employees or independent contractors with a gross revenue per year above $2M. You may store the downloaded assets on multiple company servers across different locations.

What am I allowed to use the assets for?
You may use the assets for commercial purposes such as creating renders, animations, movies, print media and so on for you or your clients. You may not resell, redistribute, or repackage the assets themselves or parts of the assets such as texture maps, or pass the data on to a third party.

Can I use the assets in a commercial video game?
Yes of course, as long the game does not have an Open Source License. If the assets can be accessed or extracted from your game, you must include a text license stating: "Contains assets from Aixterior.com - Assets may not be redistributed."
Please note that it is not allowed to release our images under Open Source licenses (even when the materials are modified). If you are working on a game that is released under an Open Source license, you need to release content that has been created using our materials under a closed source license.
